About Nikos Koulakiotis
Nikos studied Byzantine painting and graphic arts. He taught painting and drawing at the People’s University of Thessaloniki from 1998 to 2006.
He worked at the State Theater of Northern Greece in the stage design department with the country’s most important stage designers.
He has also worked on book illustration and product labels. He is a member of the Greek Chamber of Visual Arts, as well as the Organization for the Copyrights of Visual Arts.
His works exist in Greece as well as abroad. Today he teaches at the People’s University, which is based in the KALAMARI – Adamantiou Korai model schools.
In recent years, he has been engaged in commissioning paintings, as well as writing his book-study about the adventure of painting through the ages.
